Kamaksha Devi Temple




Kamaksha Devi temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga this temple is located in Kao this is a small town of karsog tehsil. This temple is situated on the top of one hill and this temple fully made of wooden. It is believed that the devil Manhishasur and Goddess Durga war on this place. 

Manhishasur was in the form of a buffalo and hence every year on the time of Navratri evening numerous buffaloes sacrifice at this temple but now in the Indian Constitution sacrifice of animals is not allowed in India. 
Kamaksha Devi temple was full of different kinds of idols.


This temple is 6 Km from Karsog bus stand and 91Km from Mandi and 96Km from Shimla.
 Kamaksha Devi temple one of the most important temples in Karsog if you want to go to this place then go on at 7:30 am in the morning and 7:30 pm in the evening because this time is Aarti time of this temple otherwise this temple always open whole days of the week. 

Mamleshwar Mahadev Temple


The Mamleshwar Mahadev temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Constructed by the Pandavas during their 12-year exile, this temple boasts a history of over 5,000 years. It is situated in Mamail, a small town in Karsog, just 2 kilometers from the Karsog bus stand.


This temple houses numerous Shivlings, all crafted by the Pandavas. Additionally, there is a large drum, measuring between four to five feet, which is believed to belong to Bhim.


There is a large, ancient 200-gram wheat grain that resembles a black stone. Each year, thousands of visitors come to this historical temple to admire its significant artifacts.

Chindi Mata Mandir

Chindi Mata temple is located in Chindi village this temple is also a historical temple. This temple is Thousands of years old and this temple is fully made by handcraft wooden. This temple 82Km from Shimla by Tattapani and 13 Km from Karsog main bus stand. Every year on the name on Chindi Mata there local people holding three days fair on Bakhrot place in the month of August and thousands of people come here and enjoy this fair. This temple looks very beautiful and there is a small water pool outside the temple.

you can also see the view of the  Karsog and different kinds of the mountain from Chindi temple. The Mamleshwar tourism restaurant is the nearest place from this temple this tourism is very famous in Himachal Pradesh
 



Shikari Devi temple is very old this temple was build in 12-year expatriate of Pandavas. This temple is 21 Km from Karsog and 18 Km from Jenjehli. It is situated at an altitude of 3359 Mtr. Shikari Devi temple located in a shikari Devi wildlife sanctuary. Shikari Devi sanctuary is the highest peak of Mandi Distt. In the way of shikari Devi temple you will also see a very thick forest, this forest is very amazing but there are also so many wild animals so be careful if you traveled in the night. Shikari Devi road is a raw road so this road is not good in the raining season. Shikari Devi temple is a roofless temple it is believed that this temple was built by Pandavas and they forgot to build the roof. Every winter season entire mountain and entire premises of temple covered with several feet by



snow, but on the Devi idol, no snow spotted. These accidents show this temple is not a normal temple. The best timing to travel Shikari Devi is April, May, and June these three months is best to visit. I also visited this place the first time in June month.
Wagah Border

Wagah Border is the last point of Amritsar and it is also a borderline between India and Pakistan. Wagah borderline also called a Redcliffe line, this line was drawn on the timing of dividing India and Pakistan. Wagah Border is famous for the flag ceremony all the day of the week at the time of sunset for two hours. This flag ceremony is organized by Pakistan Ranger and Indian border security force(BSF).

Golden Temple(Harmandir Sahib)

Golden temple is most visited Gurudwara in Amritsar and in India because of this temple made with gold. Construction of this gurudwara is started in 1581 and those work completed in 1589 but in 1604 Guru Arjan placed Adi Granth in Golden temple. This gurudwara is the holiest and very important pilgrimage place for Sikhism. There is also a man-made water pool this water pool makes this gurudwara more beautiful.

Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) is open worship for all kind of people many people work in the langar many of people making food in the langar, serve food and clean the shoes and people work here from its heart without taking any money. The kitchen of the Golden temple is the largest kitchen in all world, in this kitchen food making for thousands of people in a single day.

How to reach the Golden Temple(Harmandir sahib)

Golden temple is 255 km from Chandigarh within 4 hours you can reach in this place you can take a train from Chandigarh and Golden Temple 466 km from Delhi and within 8hr you can reach this location. Govt and private bus both are available for this place and you can take an ola and uber cab from Delhi and Chandigarh but it's going the same expensive.
Rose Garden


Rose Garden is famous for its flowers of Rose this garden also called Zakir Hussain Rose Garden. This Garden is located in sector 16 Chandigarh this garden covered 30 acres area of land, on the name of India's former president Zakir Hussain this garden is built in 1967 by Dr. M.S. Randhawa he is first chief commissioner of Chandigarh. 
Rose garden is a collection of 1600 species of Rose and 50 thousand plants of rose, this garden full of the green lush beauty and different kinds of trees.

Rose garden is 8 Km from ISBT 43 Chandigarh and 8.3 Km from Railway station of Chandigarh.
