Karsog
Karsog is a town of Himachal Pradesh Mandi district, near Shimla at a height of 1,404 metres. It lies in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas. It is situated at a distance of 91Km from Mandi or 107 Km from Shimla, 183 km from Chandigarh and 415 km from Delhi. It is one of 7 subdivisions of Mandi district. The population of karsog is 93,126 and literacy rate of karsog is 90.33 %, Male literacy stands at 94.82 % while the female literacy rate was 85.75 %. karsog is the area there are so many gardens of apples and every year farmer sell millions of apple.
In the Himachal, there are so many places of travelling like Shimla, Kullu and Manali and so on every place famous for its some feature and karsog is famous for its natural lush green beauty and its temples. If you are a nature lover and explore new places, then you must go there. All the temples of karsog are so famous and very old every year thousands of people come here to take a blessing. It is believed that at the time of the Mahabharata Pandavas was come here and build so many temples in this place during their 12-year expatriate.

Mamleshwar Mahadev Temple

Mamleshwar Mahadev temple is dedicated to God Shiva and Goddess Parvati. This temple is built by Pandavas in their 12-year expatriate and this temple is over 5000 years old. This temple is located in Mamail, Mamail is a small town of Karsog, this temple only 2 km from  bus stand of karsog. 
There are so many Shivlig in this temple and all these Shivling made by Pandavas there is also a very big drum this drum is 4 to 5 feet in size and It is believed that this drum is  Bhim's drum. And there is also a very big and old 200-gram wheat grain.
Every year thousands of Trouw come here to see this historical temple and its historical things.
In karsog there are also one hotel that's name is The Mamleshwar and this Hotel is the number one hotel in Himachal Pradesh.

Kamaksha Devi Temple


Kamaksha Devi temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga this temple is located in Kao this is a small town of karsog tehsil. This temple is situated on the top of one hill and this temple fully made by wooden. It is believed that devil Manhishasur and Goddess Durga war on this place. Manhishasur was in the form of a buffalo and hence every year on the time of Navratri evening numerous buffaloes sacrifice at this temple. 
This temple is 6 Km from karsog bus stand  and 91Km from Mandi and 96Km from Shimla.


Mahunag Temple 


Mahunag Temple is very Famous and Historical temple in Karsog this temple dedicated to god Shiva. This temple is 32 Km from Karsog bus stand and 84 Km from Shimla. This temple located on the top of the hill and from there we see the very beautiful and awesome view. In the month of May and June every year, people holding the fair.

Mul Mahunag Temple Karsog

  Mahunag Temple   Mahunag Temple, a renowned historical site in Karsog, is dedicated to Lord Shiva. While there are numerous Mahunag temples throughout Himachal Pradesh, this particular temple is considered the principal one, often referred to as Mul Mahunag. Chindi Mata Mandir Chindi Mata temple is located in Chindi village this temple is also a historical temple. This temple is Thousands of years old and this temple is fully made by handcraft wooden. This temple 82Km from Shimla by Tattapani and 13 Km from Karsog main bus stand.  Every year on the name on Chindi Mata there local people holding three days fair on Bakhrot place in the month of August and thousands of people come here and enjoy this fair.  This temple looks ve ry  beautiful and there is a small water pool outside the temple. you can also see the view of the   Karsog and different kinds of the mountain from Chindi temple. Bijli Mahadev Temple Kullu

  Bijli Mahadev Temple Bijli Mahadev is one of the sacred temples of Himachal Pradesh. It is located at an altitude of about 2,460m from Kullu valley. Across the Beas River, Bijli Mahadev Temple is one of the ancient and sacred temples in India. This temple dedicated to lord shiva.
